The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and collaborative team as their Accounts Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of accounts support across multiple entities. Working closely with the CFO and broader team, you will contribute to smooth financial operations, accurate record-keeping, and assist with budgeting activities to support the organisation’s ongoing growth and success. This role is a permanent part-time position working three days a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of accounts payable and receivable Prepare, code, and enter invoices ensuring accuracy and timeliness Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Perform bank and account reconciliations Assist with budgeting and forecasting Assist with month-end duties, including journals and reporting Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide timely support to the finance team with additional tasks and projects as required Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in an accounts or finance support role Proven ability to work proactively, use initiative, and manage multiple tasks independently Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Xero How to Apply Sharp & Carter often have a range of positions available that may not yet be advertised.
