We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at Butchers of Gateway in Langwarrin. This full-time role is key to ensuring we continue to deliver premium-quality meat products and outstanding customer service to our loyal customers.
What you'll be doing
* Expertly prepare, cut, and package a wide range of meats to customer specifications
* Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service, including advice on product selection and cooking methods
* Maintain a clean, well-organised, and fully stocked butchery display
* Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards
* Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store as required
What we're looking for
* Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent hands-on industry experience
* Strong meat cutting, trimming, and presentation skills
* A customer-focused attitude with the ability to confidently offer product advice
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
