About the role
As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the club, overseeing staff, facilities, events, member and patron services. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys community-focused work and takes pride in delivering a great customer experience. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the success and growth of our club.
What you'll be doing
* Overseeing all aspects of club operations, including financial operations, budgets, reporting, event planning, facility maintenance, bar and catering facilities
* Supervising and supporting staff and volunteers
* Developing and implementing strategies to increase membership, enhance the customer experience, and generate revenue
* Fostering strong relationships with the Committee, members, patrons, and the local community
* Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
* Leading and motivating a small team of employees to deliver exceptional service
* Identifying initiatives and enhancements
* Continuously improving club policies, procedures, and systems to drive efficiency and innovation
* Promoting the club and support membership growth
What we're looking for
* Experience in a similar club management or hospitality leadership role
* Financial operations experience and financial awareness
* Customer-focused with a friendly, professional manner
* An understanding of relevant laws and regulations is desirable, or the willingness to learn
* Organisational skills and ability to follow through and complete tasks within deadlines
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing member experiences
* Australian work rights required
