As the Stroke Research Nurse Coordinator, you will be at the centre of our internationally recognised Stroke Research Program—coordinating and delivering clinical trials that directly impact patient outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with research, working alongside leading neurologists, researchers and multidisciplinary teams.
Your new Role
In this role, you will coordinate and facilitate a portfolio of stroke clinical trials, ensuring they are delivered to the highest ethical and clinical standards.
* Lead patient recruitment, assessment, and follow-up for clinical trials
* Coordinate trial activities in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and protocols
* Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams
* Manage data collection, reporting, and regulatory requirements
* Provide education and support to staff on stroke research trials
About You
You are an experienced and motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about research and improving patient outcomes.
You Bring
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Experience coordinating clinical trials within GCP guidelines
* Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Clinical experience in stroke, neuroscience, ICU, or emergency settings
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Postgraduate qualifications in health or management (or working towards) are highly regarded.
