Trade Counter Assistant
Location: Kings Meadows, Southgate
Salary: AUD 50,000 – 65,000
Employment type: Full‐time
About the role: As part of the Trade Counter team in Launceston, you'll assist engineers, project managers and other tradespeople in accessing the products they need to maintain essential services. You will support branch operations, ensuring customers receive timely service and accurate product information.
Your day‐to‐day:
* Provide customer service and product information in person and over the phone
* Prepare and deliver quotes to customers
* Pack, pick and control inventory for order fulfilment
* Maintain branch cleanliness and safety standards
* Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
We'd love to hear from you if you:
* Have prior experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoy helping customers both in person and over the phone
* Are willing to learn, even if you don't yet have experience in this industry
* Can pick orders, maintain shop‐floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
* Are competent with a computer and eager to learn new systems
* Hold a clean, valid driver's licence and are open to working various shifts, including weekends
* Want to develop your career – locally, within the network or at head office
