About the Role
Reporting functionally to the Global IT Service Operations Director with a local reporting line to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for the end-to-end technical ownership of enterprise IT infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand.
You will oversee the design, operation and support of core infrastructure platforms, ensuring high availability, security and performance of business-critical systems.
You will also collaborate with global architecture and engineering teams to implement regional technology roadmaps and support infrastructure initiatives across the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
* Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure across ANZ sites
* Oversee Office 365 and core server infrastructure environments
* Ensure high availability, resilience and security across infrastructure platforms
* Work with global teams to deliver regional infrastructure roadmaps
* Govern infrastructure service delivery from regional IT support teams
* Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure incidents and performance issues
* Plan and implement upgrades, patching and system improvements
* Develop and maintain infrastructure policies, standards and documentation
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong enterprise infrastructure experience along with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
* Key experience includes:
* 5+ years supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments
* Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
* Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Nutanix
* Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam
* Experience supporting NetApp or enterprise NAS storage platforms
* Experience with Office 365 and cloud services (Azure preferred)
* Solid understanding of high availability and resilience architectures
* Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management practices
* Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure design capability
