Occupational Hygiene Expertise
As a seasoned occupational hygiene professional, you will be part of a globally recognized reputation for providing high-quality tailored services. You will work alongside industry leaders in occupational health and hazardous materials to provide technical advice on hazmat and occupational health issues.
Key responsibilities include:
* Identification and Conducting Asbestos/Hazmat Surveys
* Asbestos fibre monitoring and fibre counting
* Providing technical advice on Hazmat and occupational health issues
* Supervision of Asbestos/Hazmat removal
* Client liaison, quotes, tenders and Project Management
* Preparation of Technical Reports and deliver projects to budget and in a timely manner
You will have a keen interest in occupational hygiene and hazardous materials and be driven to continue ongoing learning and development. A willingness to work onsite, as well as undertake occasional regional travel is also required.
Requirements
The following skills and qualifications are essential:
* Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) or relevant experience which enables you to gain LAA within a brief timeframe
* Experience within the HAZMAT industry coupled with relevant qualifications
* Strong consulting background with excellent writing ability
* HAZMAT survey experience along with a valid driver's licence
* An understanding of reporting requirements and Project Management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Full working rights in Australia or an Australian Citizenship
