ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to a Procurement Manager, this important role is responsible for contributing to Mutual Marketplace customers business outcomes through the deployment of strategic sourcing initiatives across the ICT procurement categories.
Your working week will be busy and diverse, including but not limited to, the following core responsibilities:
* Develop and implement end-to-end sourcing programs of work to ensure effective sourcing and acquisition activities are undertaken;
* Manage customer and supplier participation within sourcing activities against agreed standards, proactively resolving any issues;
* Undertake market benchmarking as required to ensure best value in sourcing outcomes;
* Achieve demonstrable cost savings and improved efficiencies in procurement and contract outcomes;
* Act as a key Mutual Marketplace representative for internal and external stakeholders, customers and service providers.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and expected to work with a high level of autonomy, will have strong demonstrated experience within a similar position and category, and a passion for “all things procurement”. A Degree in Business or similar level of qualification (CIPS) is highly desirable.
You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and you are passionate about delivering customer-focused services.
In addition, you will possess the following attributes:
* ICT Sourcing experience (required);
* Strong experience understanding, negotiating, and drafting complex services contracts;
* Expertise in strategic sourcing, transformation/transition programs, spend analysis, market analysis, contract development, and supplier risk management;
* Superior relationship-building skills;
* Experience working within a customer-facing environment;
* Strong self-discipline, self-motivation, and passion for execution.
