Join to apply for the Lifeguard role at Belgravia Leisure – Cleveland Aquatic Centre, Cleveland 4163, Queensland.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguard to join the team on a casual basis. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools are a safe and enjoyable setting for all patrons.
We value safety around the water and seek individuals who are energetic, dynamic, outgoing and focused on customer service excellence to ensure patrons safely enjoy their visit every time. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs. We are looking for school hours coverage as well as weekends.

Responsibilities
Handle Day to Day Pool Operations within the facility and ensure safety and enjoyment of patrons around and in pool areas.
Maintain high standards of water safety and guest services, with outstanding communication to patrons and staff.
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within the facility
Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
National Police Check
Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded
Previous experience in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
