About The Role
You will empower people with disability to live as independently and confidently as possible through skill‐building, wellbeing support, and community inclusion.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care that promotes dignity and independence (e.g., showering, toileting, continence support).
* Support safe manual handling and mobility using hoists and other aids.
* Follow individual care plans to meet health needs such as epilepsy or wound care.
* Prepare meals and assist with mealtimes in line with mealtime management plans.
* Enable customers to participate in everyday activities — from household tasks to social and community outings.
Skills & Experience
* Flexible availability across 24/7 shifts including mornings, afternoons, overnights (including sleepovers), weekends.
* Confidence with manual handling, PEG feeding, medication administration, and safe transport.
* Ability to remain calm, capable, and compassionate when challenges arise.
* Experience supporting people with varying physical, cognitive, or behavioural needs, leading with respect.
* Enthusiastic about learning, connecting, and helping others live more independently.
