Financial Leadership Role
The successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to the organisation, overseeing the full finance function and driving financial modelling for key projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide financial leadership and sit as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, partnering with the CEO and Board to drive strategy and growth.
2. Oversee the full finance function (including accounting, tax, audit, treasury, FP&A, project accounting, budgeting and forecasting).
3. Develop and own financial models for key projects and business initiatives: scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, business-case development, funding structuring, cost/risk modelling and ROI evaluation.
4. Lead project-based accounting: establish financial frameworks for project tracking, cost recognition, capital and operational forecasting, variance reporting and milestone-based billing.
5. Maintain robust internal controls, governance and compliance frameworks (including regulatory, audit, tax and financial reporting obligations).
6. Manage cash flow, working capital, capital structure and funding requirements; advise on appropriate financing, investment and risk management strategies.
7. Develop financial KPIs and dashboards, deliver timely and actionable financial reporting to senior stakeholders and the Board.
8. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, build capability, embed best practice processes and continuously improve systems and workflows.
9. Maintain the highest standard of integrity, ethics and professional conduct; act as the finance ambassador for the organisation and embed a culture of financial discipline and transparency.
