Community Site Leadership
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to lead our community site.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to manage day-to-day operations at our Learning and Lifestyle centre and the Community Access Services in Norman Gardens, Rockhampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality person-centred supports to people with disability both in the Lifestyle Centre and in the community within a sustainable business model.
About This Role
* This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based on-site at the community hub.
This role requires a passion and burst of energy to drive participation growth and business development.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, experience in managing site-based services within the Disability Sector, and knowledge of the National Standards Disability Services, Quality & Safeguarding Framework, disability services provision, and NDIS.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing activities programs that foster the strengths and goals of participants attending the day service.
2. Managing a team to deliver supports that develop independence, confidence, self-esteem, and social interaction skills.
The selected candidate will be expected to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders, lead through adversity, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements
* A Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
* Experience in successfully managing site-based services within the Disability Sector.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the National Standards Disability Services, Quality & Safeguarding Framework, disability services provision, and NDIS.
