Border Express currently has an opportunity available for an ICT Support Analyst to join the Border Express IT Service Desk at our Albury (NSW) branch.
Duties:
You will be the "face of IT" focused on providing the highest level of customer service. Your curiosity and fascination with technology plus a desire to help people get their work done will be at the forefront of your daily work ethic. You build positive customer relationships backed by clear technical advice and timely solutions.
This role provides efficient, effective delivery of IT Support Services, ensuring all service requests and incidents are resolved, delivered, or managed in accordance with agreed service levels that minimise the impact to Border Express operations.
You're the person friends and family call you when they tech support.
You're passionate about tech support and customer service.
You enjoy solving problems and have well developed critical thinking skills.
You can communicate technical concepts in layman's terms.
You have a sense of urgency, looking for what's next with the ability to keep calm and carry on.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and/or the ability to demonstrate a passion and genuine interest in learning Information Technology is essential.
Relevant and practical experience as an IT Service Desk operator or in an IT support environment or a similar role is an advantage.
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Broad technical understanding of hardware, software, applications, networks, and communications technologies with the ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience.
