Project Manager – SAP ECC to S/4HANA Upgrade
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major finance transformation project involving upgrading from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA.
This strategic initiative will modernize financial systems and processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end delivery of the SAP upgrade project, focusing on finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Controlling).
Act as the primary liaison between finance leadership, internal teams, and the external implementation partner.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk registers.
Oversee data migration and validation to ensure financial data integrity.
Coordinate testing activities, including scenario development and UAT.
Support change management, communication, and training for finance stakeholders.
Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and financial impacts to governance boards and senior leadership.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience managing ERP projects, with proven success in SAP upgrades or implementations.
Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles within SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex data migrations and system reconciliations.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience working with Tier 1 SAP implementation partners.
