Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for precision and compliance? Join our dynamic Financial Accounting Team and play a vital role in supporting our Financial Manager to deliver high-quality financial services that make a real impact. You'll work closely with all members of the Financial Accounting Team to maintain compliance, support audits, and contribute to the preparation of key financial documents and reports.
As our Assistant Accountant, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. This role focuses on accurate data entry, preparation of financial reports, and providing support across the Financial Accounting Team.

Your Impact:
- Enter financial data to support end-of-month account preparation
- Prepare timely and accurate bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) in accordance with ATO requirements
- Prepare General Ledger Reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation
- Compile data for statutory, funding, and government reporting
- Contribute to benchmarking surveys and statistical returns
About You:
- Degree-qualified (or working towards it) with 2-4 years of experience, and ideally on the path to becoming CA or CPA certified
- Great time management and the ability to juggle priorities
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Advanced computing abilities and experience with financial software
- Sharp analytical thinking and a keen eye for accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with teams and stakeholders
- Fast and accurate data entry capabilities
