About the Role Join our clients International Tax team, where you’ll work with a mix of inbound and outbound multinational clients, helping them navigate complex cross-border tax issues. We’re looking for someone with solid corporate and/or international tax experience and strong business savvy. What You’ll Do Analyse international tax issues and provide clear, practical advice to large corporate and private groups. Structure cross-border transactions —helping clients with acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestments. Advise on global tax developments, including the latest OECD BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) updates. Support clients with overseas investments, ensuring compliance with tax authorities worldwide. Review tax treaties and assess how different countries’ tax rules impact client structures. Prepare and review tax returns, including International Dealings Schedules, Reportable Tax Position Schedules, and CFC (controlled foreign company) calculations. Liaise with the ATO and FIRB, helping clients respond to queries about their transactions. Mentor Juniors and over see their work. What We’re Looking For A degree in law or commerce, with further study in accounting or tax (post-grad qualifications are a plus). Experience in corporate or international tax, ideally from a professional services firm, law firm, or in-house tax team. Strong research and writing skills—you can break down complex tax issues into clear, actionable advice.
