Gladstone Hospital is a 70-bed facility offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency, general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology, and paediatrics. Additional services encompass Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, oral health, physiotherapy, dietetics, speech pathology, outreach/community-based facilities, and a Primary Health Care Centre at Boyne Valley.
About the role: Perform general clerical duties, deliver quality client service, manage patient bookings, receipting, correspondence, and prepare basic reports, minutes, and agendas. Collate records and statistics, type, enter data, process documents using modern office equipment, switchboard, reception, filing, and other duties as assigned. Be adaptable to a changing work environment and develop skills in various administrative tasks to meet the organisational needs of the Health Service. Maintain high work ethics, work autonomously, and make ethical decisions to achieve departmental and organisational goals. Organise and coordinate meetings, including preparing and distributing agendas and minutes. About you: This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, squatting, working on ladders, and using large trolleys for transporting charts across the facility.
What we offer: The total remuneration package is up to $97,656 per annum, comprising:
