Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and compassionate individual to join our expanding team as a Client Care Support Officer. The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuine sensitivity towards pet owners needs. Our ideal candidate will have the flexibility of being available for varied start and finish times between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday through to Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure proper handling and identification of pets throughout the cremation process. Please note that this position entails the handling of deceased pets.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace and equipment.
* Administrative tasks including invoicing, data entry and record keeping.
* Receiving and collecting deceased pets from residences and veterinary clinics.
* Taking ink paw prints and fur clippings of deceased pets.
* Provide compassionate support to pet owners during their interactions with the company.
Qualifications:
* Prior experience in pet care, veterinary services, or crematory operations preferred but not essential.
* Must hold a current Victorian Driver License (or equivalent).
* Must be able to lift up to 25kg unaided.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a compassionate manner.
* Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity towards grieving pet owners.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
