Your new role
This is a new role due to growth. You will be joining a passionate and dedicated team providing clinical and community care. You will be responsible for:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments using standardized tools to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance daily living skills, tailored to each client's goals and environments.
* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support functional independence in activities such as self-care, mobility, and leisure.
* Assess and recommend modifications to clients' home or work environments to enhance safety and accessibility.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and holistic support for clients.
* Maintain detailed clinical documentation including assessments, progress notes, and reports in accordance with NDIS and organizational standards.
* Educate clients and their caregivers on therapy goals, strategies, and the use of assistive technologies or adaptive equipment.
* Participate in professional development and stay updated with emerging trends and practices in occupational therapy.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a minimum degree qualified, have AHPRA registration or be eligible to obtain, have excellent communication and report writing skills and have ideally have previous experience.
