Our client, a Global Leader in Gold, is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their busy team based in Subiaco for a minimum of 6 months
**Accounts Payable Officer**

Our client, a Global Leader in Gold, is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their busy team based in Subiaco for a minimum of 6 months. Working directly with the AP Supervsior, you will be responsible for maintaining the day to day running of the AP function. You will need to be available for interview in December and to start the assignment in January
Roster: Monday - Friday - 40 hours - flexible start and finish times
Location: Subiaco - Hybrid working
Duration: 6 months
**Qualifications and skills required**:
- Ensure all incoming Account Payable invoices to be verified and processed correctly, accurately and in timely manner.
- Ensure invoice coding, approvals and amounts are accurate and in accordance with policy and procedures. Take corrective action if required.
- Ensure that problems are promptly dealt with by responding to queries from Vendors, PTP Specialist, employees and management. Maintain clear and open communication with key stakeholders.
- Reconcile Vendor's statements of account and deliver accurate information to Vendor regarding status of their invoices.
- Review and investigate Blocked invoices
- Comply with all Newmont Australia Occupational Health and Safety requirements
**Key accountabilities will include but not limited to**:
- Experience in Australian accounts payable administration
- Previous experience working with SAP (non-negotiable)
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Advanced PC skills and computer literacy with respect to MS Office Suite Products
