Shape Safer Workplaces and Stronger Systems
KARI Ltd is looking for a full-time Workplace Health, Safety & Injury Management (WHS & IM) Specialist based in Liverpool, NSW.
This is an on-site role reporting to the Business Operations Manager, responsible for leading WHS & IM initiatives across KARI’s operations in NSW, QLD and VIC.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Providing expert advice and leadership on WHS & IM strategies, policies and procedures
* Developing, implementing and monitoring WHS & IM frameworks across the organisation
* Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
* Managing injury management and return-to-work processes, including early intervention and liaison with treating professionals
* Facilitating psychosocial risk assessments and implementing risk control measures
* Preparing WHS & IM reports, safety insights and governance updates for senior leadership
* Developing and delivering WHS & IM training, safety awareness initiatives and communications
* Coordinating safety audits and monitoring the effectiveness of risk management systems
Please Note: Occasional interstate travel across NSW, QLD and VIC may be required depending on operational needs or incident response. Overnight stays may occasionally be required.

Bring Your WHS & IM Expertise to a Purpose-Driven Organisation
To qualify, you will need to hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence, tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (or a related field) and demonstrated experience managing WHS & IM within a complex or multi-site organisation.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
* Experience leading incident investigations and implementing corrective safety actions
* Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and WHS & IM governance frameworks
* Experience developing WHS & IM training programs and building organisational capability
* Confidence working with stakeholders across multiple teams and leadership levels
* Experience managing return-to-work and injury management processes
