Are you an experienced FMCG account manager with a track record in highly structured, tender-driven retail environments Our client is seeking a commercially disciplined, detail-focused professional to manage and grow a strategic national discount supermarket account.
This role offers end-to-end ownership of a centralised, tender-led account with strict article counts, tight cost controls, and zero-defect expectations around execution, pricing, and master data.
Key Responsibilities
* Own a key national discount retail account, leading tender submissions, seasonal programs, and range resets
* Act as the primary contact for buyers and category teams
* Build detailed cost models and manage margin structures
* Coordinate product development, technical compliance, packaging, and logistics requirements
* Forecast volumes and work closely with supply chain to ensure on-time, in-full delivery
* Monitor post-launch performance and stock risk
* Collaborate across sourcing, quality, logistics, and finance teams
About You
* 3–7+ years' FMCG account management experience
* Direct experience with ALDI (supplier-side or in-house) highly preferred
* Exposure to major Australian retailers such as Coles, Woolworths, Supa IGA, or Foodland advantageous
* Strong knowledge of tender cycles, range resets, exclusivity, and cost transparency
* Experienced in cost modelling, supplier negotiation, and margin management
* Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong project management discipline
* Calm, structured, commercially pragmatic, and comfortable operating with limited ambiguity
* Private label, exclusive brands, or import-led supply chain experience is a plus
