Senior Contract Negotiator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Negotiator to lead negotiations on complex EPC contracts, service agreements, and supply contracts. You will be part of a collaborative team that supports battery storage projects across the region.
* Negotiate and deliver high-value construction, services, equipment sales, subcontracts, and procurement agreements across Australia and Asia.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical, commercial, and legal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
* Serve as a key interface between business priorities and legal outcomes, ensuring alignment and robust contract execution.
* Support the full project lifecycle, from preparing commercial offers and RFP responses to contract close-out and project delivery.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of contract templates and risk standards, driving global legal strategy and best practices.

Requirements
* 5-8 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy law, preferably with a focus on utility-scale renewable energy or storage projects.
* A proven track record of managing complex contract negotiations, including EPC agreements and project claims.
* Excellent commercial judgment, relationship-building skills, and ability to balance competing priorities while keeping sight of the overall goal.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers and suppliers.
