Hours per fortnight: 73.50 hours, with flexible options available.
Duties:
* Prepare bail application files, including requesting and collating relevant information from the Courts and Tasmania Police.
* Process data imported from external systems and conduct quality assurance practices, including creating new matters and updating hearing information in our practice management system.
* Reconcile key DPP data sources with our practice management system.
* Compile, file and vet documents, such as indictments, subpoenas, Crown Papers and arrange service on defence counsel and defendant.
* Undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, word processing, opening and closing files, binding documents and reception services.
Pre-employment Checks:
The Head of State Service has determined that we will conduct pre-employment checks before appointing or promoting a candidate.

* Violent crimes and crimes against the person
* Sex-related offences
* Drug and alcohol related offences
* Crimes involving dishonesty

* Crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice
* Crimes against Executive or the Legislative Power
* Crimes involving Conspiracy
