P&C Business Partner | Employee Relations Focus

This is a hands‐on role within a large, operational organisation supporting a complex, union‐ised workforce. The person in this role will partner with frontline leaders, navigate ER matters with confidence and bring genuine IR depth to a team that values it.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide advice and support across the full range of employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
* Interpret and apply enterprise agreements.
* Partner with operational leaders on performance and engagement.
* Support change and workforce planning initiatives across a safety‐critical environment.
About You
* Held a People Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor position within a union‐ised environment and has strong working knowledge of enterprise agreements and Fair Work frameworks.
* Managed complex ER matters end to end and has worked alongside blue‐collar or operational workforces – transport, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing or utilities would all be relevant backgrounds.
* Pragmatic, credible with frontline leaders and comfortable in environments that move quickly and don't always follow the script.
The Detail
Base salary between $150K and $170K plus super. Melbourne based.
