We are looking for a Program Delivery Officer to join our Rehabilitation & Reintegration Team at Clarence Correctional Centre.
This role plays a crucial part in reducing reoffending by delivering criminogenic programs designed to support positive change in inmates' lives.
About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approx. 6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes, and some of the best Australian beaches with a variety of multicultural cafes, restaurants, and friendly community towns.
As a
Program Delivery Officer
, you will:
Deliver therapeutic and criminogenic programs to inmates based on Offense-Related Program (ORP) objectives
Assess inmate suitability and maintain accurate documentation of progress
Evaluate and recommend strategies to improve participant attendance whilst considering the needs of individuals
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing training and development
Promote rehabilitation initiatives and contribute to reducing reoffending

To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services, or other related discipline, or relevant industry experience
Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) or completed within the first 24 months of employment
Ability to prepare and submit accurate reports within required timeframes
Experience in group facilitation, ideally dealing with complex mental health or behavioural issues (desired)
