This role ensures care is resident-focused, compliant with current aged care standards, and delivered within budget and workforce requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the residential aged care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality careOversee staff rosters, skill mix, supervision, appraisals, and training complianceEnsure clinical documentation meets regulatory, legal, and funding requirementsImplement quality initiatives, including dementia care models and end-of-life care planningMonitor and optimise AN-ACC funding, occupancy rates, and budget performanceLead a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvementSkills & ExperienceRegistered Nurse with current AHPRA registrationExperience in a clinical leadership role within aged careKnowledge of aged care quality standards, accreditation processes, and AN-ACC frameworkAbility to lead and support teams in a person-centred care environmentProficient in clinical systems and workforce management toolsStrong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skillsPostgraduate qualifications in management or willingness to undertake further studyCompetitive salary + superannuation + salary packagingStable and supportive leadership environmentAbout the Company/CultureThis health service provides integrated acute, aged care, and community-based services across a regional catchment.
