We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to perform preventative maintenance activities and set-ups on specific pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or packaging equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will provide maintenance support to manufacturing personnel during the operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems, diagnose problems and perform repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in electrical, electronic or mechanical trade. The Maintenance Technician I must be able to read and comprehend basic electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical drawings, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form, and apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with several variables in mostly standardized situations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventative Maintenance:
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment of an electrical, electronic (including PLC, HMI etc.), mechanical (including hydraulics, pneumatics etc.) nature.
2. Maintenance Support:
Provide technical support to keep the production processes running, help trouble-shoot mechanical and process control systems as needed to keep the plant running efficiently and effectively.
3. Equipment Repair:
Diagnose problems and perform repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment, including adjusting equipment according to product specifications, inspecting machine parts for wear or damage, and removing or replacing as required.
4. Calibration and Maintenance:
Calibrate and maintain electronics and instrumentation for process control devices, ensure proper assembly and operation of equipment, and assist with production operations by helping the operators run the equipment and assisting with cleaning of equipment by disassembling equipment and components as required by cleaning procedures.
5. Work Order Completion:
Document any assigned scheduled and preventative maintenance work on manufacturing, packaging, and support equipment, close work orders by ensuring that documentation is completed that accurately reflects the situation and actions taken.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 1-2 years experience in electrical, electronic or mechanical trade.
* Ability to read and comprehend basic electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
* Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form.
* Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with several variables in mostly standardized situations.

Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years specialized training (or equivalent experience) in mechanical, electrical or electronic trades.
