This is an exciting chance for an experienced Critical Care nurse educator to step into a leadership role where you will shape clinical capability, influence learning culture, and make a meaningful impact across SWSLHD.

You will be a collaborative, confident educator who brings strong critical care knowledge and a passion for developing others.
* Skilled Critical Care nurse with experience delivering clinical education. Able to design, implement and evaluate effective learning programs.
* Strong communicator who works well with multidisciplinary teams. Organized, adaptable and responsive to changing education needs.
* Supportive leader who fosters positive learning and professional growth. Postgraduate qualifications in education or training and assessment
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Holds a post graduate qualification relevant to the education portfolio. Has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or its successor (or TAE40110 plus the TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 units) and/or tertiary level post graduate qualification in adult education.
* Describe a time you led the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of an ICU (or acute/critical care) education or professional development program for a multidisciplinary audience.
In your response, outline how you:
-Identified training need
-Incorporated evidence based practice, adult learning principles, simulation or other contemporary modalities.
-Ensured legislative/policy compliance and cultural competence.
-Measured outcomes (e.g., competency, safety/quality indicators, learner feedback) and how results informed program improvement.
* Describe how you have used excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication to engage stakeholders (e.g., ICU nursing, medical staff, patients/carers, external providers) to co design education and support staff with identified practice issues. Include the context, your approach, and the outcome.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
