Reporting to the QLD Executive Manager, your remit will include responsibility of all end-to-end operations of the warehouse and distribution departments, ensuring that Stratco products move seamlessly and safely from inbound receiving, storage and inventory management through to outbound despatch and delivery.
Leading a close-knit team, and collaborating closely with manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring on-time delivery, optimising transportation costs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Broadly, your additional scope of responsibility will encompass:
Oversee all logistics operations including yard, transport, warehouse and inventory control.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise delivery routes and reduce freight costs.
Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to align supply chain activities with customer demands.
Lead, train, mentor and motivate your team ensuring the highest levels of performance and safety standards.
Ensure appropriate load configurations and restraint methods are applied to products.
Lead toolbox talks and ongoing training programs across logistics, despatch, safety, and customer service expectations.
For this key appointment, we are targeting an astute, high-calibre Logistics Manager with a proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience and strategic insight gained within the manufacturing sector or allied industries, adept in the use of ERP platforms, along with a strong command of cost management, logistics, despatch, and supply chain operations.
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
