About Us

At Make The Time, we're dedicated to supporting young people of all ages to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. We provide NDIS support services, school-based mentoring, and group programs that build essential life skills, encourage positive choices, and create meaningful opportunities for growth. Our programs include mentoring, skill development workshops, and recreational activities—all designed to inspire confidence and resilience in a safe, empowering environment.

About the Role

We're looking for passionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team. This is a casual or part time role that involves working across two areas:

* Disability Support – providing one-on-one support to young people with a disability, both at home and in the community.
* Mentoring – supporting students in our school-based programs, helping them build confidence, life skills, and positive connections.

This role is well-suited to people with backgrounds as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), youth workers, or disability support workers. While prior experience is valued, it isn't essential. We'll provide training and guidance to the right candidate who shares our passion for empowering young people. A variety of shifts are available Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide person-centred support aligned with Make The Time policies and values
* Assist with daily living activities and routines
* Take clients out for safe, fun, and engaging activities
* Mentor students as part of our school-based program
* Help young people set, work toward, and achieve their personal goals

What We're Looking For

* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* WWVP Card
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* Australian working rights

What We Offer

* Ongoing training—both internal and external
* Opportunities for professional and personal growth
* A supportive and positive team culture where you'll feel valued

How to Apply

If you're ready to make a positive impact and join the Make The Time team, please submit your resume and cover letter via the Seek application portal. Make sure to highlight your relevant experience, qualifications, and why you'd be a great fit for this role.
