Regional Nurse Manager - NSW/ACT
Lead nursing teams across multiple urgent care centres and help shape the future of community health services.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to manage nursing operations across urgent care centres in NSW and ACT. This position combines clinical governance, workforce planning, and team development, with a focus on delivering safe and efficient patient care.
Role Responsibilities
* Oversee nursing standards and clinical governance across multiple sites.
* Lead training programs and ensure compliance with mandatory education.
* Conduct clinical audits and guide sites through accreditation.
* Partner with universities to support student placements.
* Collaborate on workforce planning and recruitment activities.
* Support rollout of new services and initiatives across NSW and ACT.
* Investigate and escalate clinical incidents where required.
* Promote a strong safety culture across all sites.
Challenges & Expectations
* Balancing rapid workforce expansion with high clinical quality.
* Adapting to evolving urgent care models and service delivery.
* Aligning nursing standards and practices across multiple centres.
Reporting & Structure
* Reports directly to General Manager NSW.
* Works closely with Practice Nurse Managers and Team Leaders.
* Monday to Friday, with hours varying based on service requirements.
* Regular travel to at least 12 urgent care centres, including regional NSW.
About You
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum 3 years clinical experience in urgent care, emergency, or community health.
* Experience in mentoring, education, and team leadership.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across NSW/ACT.
