The role will be accountable for all aspects of managing the sales team and be required to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Develop a broad knowledge and understanding of the market and product applications.
Responsible for the development and implementation of specific tactical plans to achieve sales, marketing and product objectives targeted into the key account market segment.
Closely liaise with Distribution and Warehouse to ensure optimum inventory levels.
Maintain a detailed and accurate database of key accounts.
Ensure all key accounts product complaints are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner including investigating complaints, proposing solutions and implementing outcomes.
Contribute to improving overall sales effort by providing timely feedback of market intelligence regarding key account needs, competitor activity, market trends and new products and projects.
Actively participate in the development of the Business by carrying out such duties as trade presentations to customers, trade shows and conferences.
Ensure compliance to all legislative requirements and ethical standards.
About You:
3+ years of management experience.
High personal integrity and ethics.
Team player.
Adaptable learner, great communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Outstanding customer focus, presentation and negotiation skills.
Computer literate particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
Further education at certificate level or higher in sales, marketing or a related discipline.
Plumbing background highly advantageous.
