We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a leading Local Government organisation supporting key financial and operational decision-making. Contract: May – July (with potential extension) Rate: $72.84 per hour Location: Noosaville This role sits within Corporate Services and plays a critical part in partnering with operational teams to deliver financial insights, reporting, and strategic advice that drives performance across the organisation. What you’ll be doing: Partnering with business units to provide strategic financial advice and insights Delivering budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Building financial models and business cases for key initiatives Supporting month-end and year-end processes Analysing large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Collaborating with internal stakeholders and auditors to ensure financial compliance What we’re looking for: Strong experience in budgeting, management accounting, and financial reporting Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Experience working with ERP systems and large financial datasets Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Degree in Accounting/Commerce (CPA/CA highly regarded) Why apply: Long-term contract with potential for extension Opportunity to work on large infrastructure programs Supportive and structured team environment APPLY NOW!
