As a Senior IP Core Engineer you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge smart city solutions. You will oversee the delivery of end-to-end solutions providing technical leadership and project oversight.
This role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams clients and stakeholders. The role will be based in our Sydney office and will require working with network diagrams configurations and documentation.
The primary responsibilities of this role include designing planning and implementing LAN WAN and neutral network solutions based on client requirements developing network diagrams configurations and documentation configuring and installing network devices including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points optimising network performance and security participating in network capacity planning with Head of Network Architecture evaluating and recommending new network technologies and solutions creating and maintaining detailed network documentation including but not limited to network topology diagrams device configurations standard operating procedures and detailed designs.
Additionally you will ensure that all network implementations adhere to industry best practices and security standards collaborate with other OneWiFi Operation teams such as systems administration and security to ensure seamless network integration ensure that detailed designs meet MNO expectations provide detailed Bill of Materials for network hardware and software develop and execute migration plans for network upgrades or changes provide Tier 2 technical support for network-related issues troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems escalate issues to Tier 3 support or vendor support as needed monitor network performance and identify potential issues perform root cause analysis of network outages and incidents implement proactive measures to prevent network problems provide on-call support as required work within the Client's ticketing system to manage and resolve incidents and service requests adhere to service level agreements for response and resolution times provide remote and on-site support as needed coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for common network issues perform regular network health checks and audits assist with the implementation of security patches and updates work closely with NOC team on 5G related support as required.
