Are you ready to create real change in the lives of young people? NESAY is looking for a passionate and committed Transitional Assistance Program (TAP) Case Practitioner to join our team.
This is a part-time position (30.4 hours per week), offering the opportunity to work in a supportive, values-driven organisation where every day you'll see the impact of your work.
The Transitional Assistance Program (TAP) is all about empowering young people aged 16–25 who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. TAP provides practical, hands-on support to help young people move from crisis toward stability and independence. This includes:
* Helping young people secure safe and affordable housing
* Addressing the barriers that have contributed to their homelessness
* Building independent living skills and resilience
* Advocating for their needs and rights
* Supporting them to navigate services and connect with additional supports
Through this work, you'll not only provide immediate assistance but also help young people gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to build sustainable, brighter futures.
We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with young people. Experience in youth work or case management is highly valued, but not essential. If you bring strong relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills, and a qualification such as a Diploma of Community Services (or similar), we'd love to hear from you. Most importantly, we're seeking someone who wants to grow, learn and be part of a team making a real difference.
