Baillie Hill is Perth's newest hospitality precinct, opening early 2026 in the heart of East Victoria Park. Designed as a vibrant destination for dining, drinks, and events, Baillie Hill will be home to multiple venues - with The Berwick Bar & Kitchen at its centre.
About Us
We're seeking an experienced and guest-focused Restaurant Manager to join us now, playing a key role in leading day‑to‑day operations.
The Role
This is an immediate start role and a rare opportunity to be part of a foundation opening team, helping shape service standards, systems, and team culture from the ground up.
You'll be responsible for:
* Preparing the venue for opening, including team training and service standards
* Leading daily restaurant operations once open, with a strong focus on guest experience
* Managing the on‑the‑day delivery of functions and events in The Long Hall, working alongside the Functions Manager who will manage all pre‑event planning and client coordination
* Recruiting, training, and developing a high‑performing front‑of‑house team
* Maintaining high standards of presentation, consistency, and service
About You
You're a hands‑on hospitality leader who enjoys building teams and delivering smooth, well‑run services.
You'll bring
* Proven experience in restaurant or function service management
* Strong food and beverage knowledge
* Confident, calm leadership in busy service environments
* Clear communication and organisational skills
* Confidence using POS and booking systems (Now Book It, Bepoz, or similar)
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* We're open to experienced Assistant Managers ready for their first Restaurant Manager role. Experience delivering functions or events is highly regarded but not essential.
