Newcastle Anglican is holding a careers open day for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses & Care Assistants looking to join our team in either a Part Time or Casual capacity. The open day will be held on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 in Gloucester NSW. We anticipate the event to run for approximately 2 hours commencing at 10am.
This open day will give you the opportunity to meet with staff and take a tour of our Mirrabooka Place facility.
Only candidates who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be contacted and invited to the open day.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
- Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
- Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
- Abide by Aged Care Standards
- Work as an effective team member
About you?
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support for Care Assistants.
- OR Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) EN + Care staff only
- An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately document resident’s care/progress
