We have an interesting development opportunity for a Mechanical or Civil Engineer who is early in their career.
Planet Plumbing has 30 years of experience across all sectors of commercial, industrial and civil construction. We are one of the largest Top Tier Plumbing contractors in the country, employing over 350 people who design, install, service and maintain hydraulic plumbing services. We are a progressive company with a successful reputation in providing quality plumbing services to a range of tier one clients, on projects throughout Australia.
We are currently looking for a plumbing estimator to join our team in our head office in Campsie NSW.
Your Responsibilities
* Estimation of projects;
* Assisting with preparing and lodging tenders
* Manage tender drawings and documentations;
* Follow due diligence in interpreting the cost implications of tender documentations;
* Ensuring that estimates are successfully completed, on time and in accordance with contract requirements;
* Assisting with ad hoc duties, in conjunction with the Estimating Manager
Requirements of the Role
* Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in Quantity Surveying or related field, eg Mechanical or Civil Engineering;
* Ideally 1-2 years estimating experience in the Construction, or related, industry;
* Excellent experience in the use of computers and industry specific software;
* Exposure to contracts, spec and scope of works;
* Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines;
* Team player with a 'can do' attitude
