Specialist Estates Lawyer - Collaborative Lawyer - Mediator - Author - Trainer — A compressed 4-day week opportunity with Resolve Estate Law, a multi-award-winning boutique Queensland law firm focused on estate administration and estate disputes. Led by Zinta Harris, a national leader in collaborative practice for estates, the firm combines deep legal expertise with a client-centred approach. 
We are looking for a new team member to support our work and grow with us. This is a pivotal role for someone who is proactive, organised, and purpose-driven, and who wants to make a real difference in people’s lives. 
Role title: New team member supporting estate administration, estate disputes, and guardianship and administration practice. 
Your Role 
You’ll work alongside experienced estate lawyers in a small but high-performing team, supporting both estate administration and estate dispute matters and a growing guardianship and administration practice. 
Responsibilities include: 
- Preparing and filing probate and letters of administration applications 
- Supporting estate administration — preparing estate accounts, drafting correspondence and liaising with executors and beneficiaries 
- Assisting in contested estate matters — drafting court documents, research, compiling briefs and reviewing documentary evidence 
- Client communications, intake support, phone calls and meetings 
- Managing calendars, court dates and file workflows with precision and care 
- Supporting business processes, document management, marketing administration and travel arrangements 
- Occasionally assisting with in-person firm related errands and training events 
About You 
You’re a good fit if you bring: 
- Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with a willingness to learn under mentorship 
- Sound understanding of succession law, or a wish to deepen your skills in this area 
- Impeccable attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills 
- Warm and professional communication skills — verbal and written 
- Confidence with technology (MS Office and legal practice management systems) 
- The initiative to work autonomously while contributing to team workload priorities 
- A genuine commitment to compassionate client care 
- Desire to join a close-knit, supportive team where your work makes a difference
