Our Client is a global manufacturer and designer of residential garage door openers, commercial door operators, and gate entry systems.
They currently have a Permanent opportunity for an Experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on the Central Coast.
As a senior member of the machining team, you will be at the forefront of producing high-quality components for cutting-edge products. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art CNC machinery and make a significant impact their production processes.
Responsibilities include:
* Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes and milling machines.
* Create new programs and update existing programs using IGF software.
* Ensure quality of product using measuring equipment and drawings.
* Perform sub-assembly work, installation of WHS-related apparatus, and factory maintenance.
* Conduct production welding and spray painting as required.
* Complete administrative tasks, report equipment and material issues, and actively participate in maintaining safe work areas and daily toolbox meetings.
Requirements:
* A relevant Trade Certificate and CAD Software certificate are required, with a preference for candidates holding a Certificate in Manufacturing.
* A minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, preferably within a high-volume production setting.
* Proficiency in machining, welding, and painting is desired, along with a valid forklift license
