Clinical Information Administration Services has an exciting opportunity in Specialty Wards Administration at Townsville University Hospital where you will contribute to delivering exceptional person-centered care to patients, their families and the community.

The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in providing administrative support within a fast-paced hospital environment. As a vital member of the administrative team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to manage and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations in Specialty Wards Administration and the wider Clinical Information Administration Service. A high level of professionalism and empathy must be maintained while adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines.

This role encompasses shiftwork, including afternoon shifts, weekends and public holidays as we ensure round-the-clock support to meet patient needs.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

* Salary range: $39.98 to $44.46 p.h. (AO3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
