We provide comprehensive acoustic consulting services throughout the entire project life cycle. From masterplan and concept design input to approval documents, design development, commissioning, and ongoing support during project operations, we cover it all. Our EMM Adelaide office includes a variety of technical experts, and we are committed to continuing to grow our presence locally. As a result, we are expanding the team and seeking a Senior Acoustical Consultant to join the team.
Here's what you can expect:
* Work on diverse projects in Adelaide and across Australia, including construction, major infrastructure, industrial, and renewables.
* Apply and grow your project management skills through proposals, scoping, budgeting, and reporting to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
* Provide technical support to assess and manage noise impacts across urban, suburban, and rural environments through monitoring, modelling, and commissioning projects.
* Access leading noise modelling software, advanced monitoring equipment, and in-house software engineering skills and tools to support your work.
* Contribute to large-scale projects nationwide with our collaborative, national delivery network.
* Grow through structured programs, mentoring, and hands‐on learning with industry leaders.
* Share your knowledge and support the development of colleagues in acoustics and beyond.
* Enjoy autonomy, flexibility, and support to maintain a healthy work‐life balance.
Here's what you'll bring to have an impact:
* A science or engineering tertiary qualification is essential, with proven acoustics experience, gained within a consultancy environment.
* Proficiency in and/or experience with noise modeling packages such as SoundPlan, CadnaA, and iNoise, along with demonstrated experience in noise monitoring and acoustic testing.
* An ability to work independently, whilst also providing guidance and mentoring to others.
* Desire to grow your project and stakeholder communication and management skills.
* Full Australian driving license.
* Membership with the Australian Acoustical Society would be advantageous.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
