About the Role
* This position plays a key role in delivering UK-wide, high-profile projects across airports, utilities, transport, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial contracts, procurement, and negotiations in an NEC environment.
* Lead post-contract commercial activities, including payment approvals, cost assessments, and contract changes.
* Support contractors in maintaining transparency and data-driven approaches.
* Identify cost-saving strategies and optimize contract performance.
* Provide data-driven cost management insights to support key decision-making.
* Determine value for money through robust commercial management.
* Oversee procurement processes from strategy to tender evaluation.
* Manage change control, produce cost reports, forecasts, and certificates.
* Assist Project Managers with Early Warnings, Instructions, and Compensation Events.
* Attend progress meetings and promote commercial awareness across projects.
* Support dispute resolution and contract close-out strategies as required.
Requirements
* Proven expertise in quantity surveying, procurement, and/or estimating, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Degree-qualified, with chartered status (MRICS) or actively working towards it.
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and infrastructure cost management.
* A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to balance site travel with flexible working.
* A drive to contribute, lead, and grow within a high-performing consultancy environment.
