Located at Palm Beach on the beautiful Gold Coast, Tallebudgera Surf Club has recently completed a major multi-million-dollar renovation that has truly transformed the Club. The renovation includes a brand new state of the art kitchen which facilitates a full serviced restaurant, function rooms and a new café and beachside coffee shop.
An opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and proactive Duty Manager to join our Management Team to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Club.
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager is to undertake the duties of management and the supervision of the Club's activities, functions and business, along with the supervision and control of staff.
The Duty Manager must be fully conversant with the Club's policies and operating procedures and must be ready to take a "hands on" approach to ensure consistent delivery of high standards of customer service and products.
All about you:
* You have at least three years' experience as a duty manager
* A sound understanding of all areas of licensed operations, including food and beverage, functions, gaming (desirable but not essential) & regulatory compliance
* High volume food & beverage experience with a commitment to exceptional customer service standards
* Have initiative and be willing to take responsibility
* You are a positive friendly manager with a real passion for customers
* You enjoy the challenge of leading, mentoring and motivating your team
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, days & weekends
* Exemplary cash handing skills with a focus on complete daily venue banking
* A strong hands-on approach with excellent time management skills
* You have a current RMLV, RSA and RSG
