We are seeking a commercially focused Sourcing Manager to partner with the business to drive sourcing outcomes.This role is part of the Information Technology & Communications (ICT) Procurement Portfolio, which includes categories such as Software, Cloud, Telecommunications and related professional services.
The sourcing activities are many and varied and may include solutions for students, researchers and the operations of the University, supporting business as usual activities as well as transformative technologies to progress the 2032 Strategy.Your key responsibilities will be to:project manage multiple sourcing events of varying value and complexitydevelop market engagement documents including issuing RFx's, managing responses, co-ordinating the evaluation and formulating recommendationspartner with a diverse range of stakeholders across the University, advising on procurement related matters and developing strategies that add valuepartner with a diverse range of suppliers and external stakeholders and bodiescontribute to continuous procurement process improvement initiatives.About youexperience as a Sourcing Manager (or similar) within a large and complex organisationexperience developing and executing complex strategic sourcing strategies in highly-regulated environmentsapplication of best practice procurement processes and sourcing methodologiesexperience with managing multiple sourcing with competing timelinesexperience in developing market engagement documents including issuing RFx's, managing responses, co-ordinating the evaluation and formulating recommendationscommercial acumen, ability to use financial models, experience with contracts and supplier negotiationsstrong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder skillsproven ability in driving insights from quantitative and qualitative dataexperience in ICT procurement across software, cloud, professional servicesknowledge of NSW Government ICT contracts and frameworks (desirable)experience with SAP Ariba (desirable).To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Work RightsYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
