Champion Clinical Excellence in Aged Care

At Lutheran Services, we believe clinical leadership should be as compassionate as it is expert. As one of the Clinical Support Leads – Residential Aged Care, you'll mentor and guide our Service Managers and Clinical Teams across multiple sites, ensuring excellence in care and compliance with aged care standards. You'll be a driving force behind safe, person-centred care that uplifts the lives of older people in our communities.

Location: Based at Toowoomba, Laidley, Kingaroy or Milton (with frequent travel between)
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent position
Remuneration: $105K - $120K + Salary Packaging + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits

About The Role

As a Clinical Support Lead, you'll lead with expertise and empathy, championing our values of kindness, integrity, innovation, and empowerment. Your role is central to supporting our clinical teams to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care across our Residential Aged Care services. You will:

* Provide expert mentoring and education to Service Managers and Clinical Teams
* Contribute to clinical improvements initiatives with wider team and Chief Clinician.
* Support induction and ongoing education for clinical staff
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies
* Collaborate across teams to improve clinical systems, documentation, and care strategies
* Assist with clinical investigations and embed best practice from the outset
* Drive continuous improvement and excellence in care delivery
* Vehicle Allowance will be provided

If you enjoy having each day look different, this role is for you You'll likely spend one day per week in Milton, 1‑2 days per week visiting sites (Kingaroy, Toowoomba, Laidley, Biloela) and also the flexibility to work from home too. With diverse regions within the portfolio overnight stays will be involved for more remote locations.

About You

You're a confident and capable clinical leader who is excited by exceptional clinical excellence in aged care and brings the following:

* A recognised nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration
* Infection Prevention and Control Lead Qualification
* Significant experience in aged care leadership roles (e.g. Service Manager, Clinical Manager)
* Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding models
* Proven ability to deliver training and mentor clinical staff
* Excellent communication skills and professional autonomy
* A valid QLD Driver's Licence, NDIS Worker Screening clearance, and willingness to travel
* Experience in clinical governance and delivering engaging clinical education
* Skills in designing and implementing best practice training programs
