About the Company
Our client is a well-established Quantity Surveying consultancy with over 20 years of successful operation in Western Australia. With a strong reputation in the market, they are currently delivering 60+ live projects across WA, ranging in value from $5M to $60M, spanning a diverse mix of sectors. Due to sustained growth, they are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor (AIQS) to join their experienced and collaborative team.
About the Role
This role offers exposure across the full project lifecycle, providing the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and develop your technical and commercial capability within a supportive consultancy environment.
You will be involved in both pre-contract and post-contract services, working closely with senior staff and clients to deliver accurate, timely, and commercially sound outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Services
* Lead and assist on simple projects
* Measurement of quantities
* Preparation of cost plans and estimates through the full project lifecycle
* Value management exercises
* Cashflow forecasting
* Preparation of Bills of Quantities
Post-Contract / Contract Administration
* Measurement and assessment of variations
* Assessment and recommendation of progress claims
* Preparation of monthly financial reports
* Cashflow management and bank reports
* Project cost analysis and contribution to cost databases
* Quality assurance documentation and support for internal audits
General
* Provide assistance to the Quantity Surveying team across pre and post contract duties as required
* Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
About You
* AIQS qualified (or eligible) Quantity Surveyor
* Degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Construction Management
* Practical experience across a broad range of QS services
* Experience using CostX (preferred) and confidence working with spreadsheets
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Services cost management experience
