About the role
Join the team at All States Building Group Pty Ltd as a Building Supervisor based in Central Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will be required to travel around Tasmania to supervise and manage a team of Maintenance Technicians.
What you'll be doing
* Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, subcontractors and other personnel to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
* Monitor quality of work and adherence to standards, specifications and safety regulations
* Identify and resolve any issues or delays, and communicate with upper management and clients as needed
* Manage on-site logistics.
* Ensure a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing safety procedures
* Provide guidance, training and mentorship to workers
What we're looking for
* Significant experience as a Building Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
* Thorough understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and workplace health and safety
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors and construction teams
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making and time management abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide hands-on leadership
* Relevant construction qualifications or certifications
* Someone willing to travel around Tasmania.
