About the role
Norco are currently seeking an experienced Blowmould Operator to join the team at our busy milk processing factory in Labrador on the Gold Coast. The position involves shift work with the team currently operating 24 hours / 7 days on a 12‐hour rotating roster, which includes weekends, public holidays and night shift.
In this full‐time hands‐on role, you will operate, monitor and maintain plastic blow moulding equipment and associated packaging machinery, including bottle bagging, debagging, labellers and coders. You will be responsible for safe machine operation, quality checks, basic troubleshooting and maintaining hygiene and food safety standards in a high‐volume manufacturing environment.
This role is well‐suited to an experienced machine operator from food, beverage, FMCG or manufacturing who takes pride in their work and is looking to build a long‐term career in food manufacturing with a reputable Australian employer.
To be successful in this role
* Experience operating production or packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to perform basic fault‐finding, make minor adjustments and escalate issues appropriately
* Confidence completing production paperwork and quality checks accurately
* A strong safety‐first mindset and commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
* Reliability, punctuality and consistency across rotating shifts
* Ability to work effectively within a team and follow standard operating procedures
* Willingness and ability to work a 12‐hour rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holiday
* Physical capability to perform manual tasks in a fast‐paced production environment
